The Role of Web-Based and Mobile Visitor Management Applications Using the Waterfall Model at PT. Adrindo Intiperkasa
Abstract
This study discusses the design and development of a web-based and mobile visitor management application to improve the efficiency and security of guest visit management at the ADR Group industrial complex managed by PT. Adrindo Intiperkasa. The previous system still used manual recording with guest books and ID card exchanges, which were prone to errors, delays in reporting, and difficulties in real-time tracking. The application was designed using the Waterfall model as the development method, with a web platform (Bootstrap and React) for guest registration and administration, and a mobile platform (Flutter) for security officer validation through QR Code scanning. This system includes features for self-registration, multi-point validation, guest movement monitoring, and data reporting. Test results show that the application is capable of accurately digitizing the visit process, reducing verification time, and providing complete activity logs. The implementation of this system is expected to improve security control and operational efficiency in industrial environments with high guest mobility.
